Leadership Program for Accounting Students!

6 Feb

I have some exciting news that I would like to share with all Freshmen and Sophomores. A very good company, BKD, is looking to invite Freshmen and Sophomores to participate in their Summer Leadership Conference which will be held in May. BKD is a public accounting firm which means they perform audit and tax work for other companies. They have offices throughout the United States. BKD hires IPFW students every year so please read the following information carefully. Generally, the students hired from IPFW work in the Fort Wayne office of BKD but they could certainly work in other office locations (e.g., Indianapolis, Dallas, Cincinnati, etc.). For more information, please visit the BKD website at:

BKD’s regional recruiter (from Indianapolis), as well as Kimberly Clapp (the Fort Wayne office recruiter) will be attending this year’s IPFW career fair on April 11, 2013. They would like to encourage all Freshmen and Sophomores interested in accounting to come by and talk with them at the fair where they will be taking resumes. From the resumes they receive, they will then chose some qualifying students to attend the leadership conference. Students will then receive a formal invitation from BKD towards the end of April if not sooner, to join them in Indianapolis for a day and a half of learning and fun.
